The Art Room is a private art school located in Arlington Heights, offering art lessons to students highly gifted, creative and strong in the visual arts seeking an art studio atmosphere to encourage developing their individual artist's voice!

The Art Room is a private art school, unique and unparalleled to any other art lesson experience. Students of The Art Room are highly gifted, strong in the visual arts and looking to develop their art skills while learning new art mediums and techniques. I recognize the potential in each one of my students. With my individualized, mentor approach, students grow in their self-esteem, skill set and developing their own unique artist voice. I love what I do and it makes me happy to be able to share my passion with others. Since starting The Art Room studio as a private teacher in 2000, I have seen students grow as artists when they take art lessons in my Arlington Heights studio. I’m a patient, insightful, and enthusiastic Art Teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience ready to help students develop their creative ideas. ART LESSONS AT THE ART ROOM
Private, Semi-Private or Small Group
What type of art lessons does The Art Room offer? We offer 3 types of art lessons: Private, Semi-Private or Small Group Art Lessons. Private lessons are 1:1 student/teacher ratio where students receive individualized instruction. Semi-Private Art Lessons are 2:1 student/teacher ratio, where 2 students are sharing the hour lesson. Small Group Art Lessons are currently 4 students maximum, multi-age, and students work on their own individual artist goals and artwork.
